What the contest is about
The Discworld novels by Terry Pratchett have been among my very favourites for almost a decade. They can always cheer me up when I'm feeling down, and the world he has built certainly captures your attention. Most important, however, are all the fabulous characters of the Disc. What would the Watch books be without Mister Vimes? or the Witch books without Granny Weatherwax?

2. If you have an old Discworld doll hanging around, you are allowed to enter it.
3. The Discworld books can sometimes be quite grim, and thus a certain amount of nudity, blood and gore are alright, as long as it's tastefully done.
4. The doll should be no larger than 350x350 pixels, and should be sent to me as a transparent gif or png. If you can't save your work as gif on the computer, there's always iaza to help you. Or if you absolutely can not figure how to do it, send me a bmp of your doll with the background in a colour you haven't used for the rest of the doll, and I will transparify it for you.

There are some major bugs in Internet Explorer and I want to have a better system for people to post their pieces. Until those things are fixed, I don't want to advertise the dollmaker too much, since I know I'll be getting complaints and it would cause problems, so the link is quietly sitting in my news archive. When I have time to fix it (sometime in May), I'll put a more prominent banner on my home page. You're still welcome to add stuff to it if you want though.
